Enjoy a leisurely train ride through the heart of Central Pennsylvania!

Excursions take passengers on a scenic one-hour roundtrip through rolling hills, farms, and forests. Trains depart northbound from the historic Orbisonia Station along our narrow-gauge mainline, originally constructed in 1872. Take a true step back in time and enjoy a ride on America’s oldest operating narrow gauge railroad.

While we always recommend advance reservations online, if space is available on the date of departure, we do accept walk-up reservations. If you wish to purchase at the ticket window, we recommend arriving no later than 1/2 hour prior to the train’s departure.

*Note: All trains are currently powered by our vintage diesel locomotive, the M7. Our crews are making steady progress in bringing steam back to the EBT, however we are not estimating any date of completion for the project at this time.
