Experience all of our active railroad from Colgate Grove to Pogue on one train ticket!
In 2025 the EBT Foundation Inc. completed restoration work to re-open the first phase in the March to Saltillo: 2.5 miles of inactive railroad from Rockhill Furnace south towards Broad Top Mountain. Now, for the first time since 1956, guests can board a train in Rockhill Furnace heading north towards both Colgate Grove AND south towards Southern Huntingdon County High School and the community of Pogue!
Your ticket includes two train rides which covers all of the East Broad Top Railroad’s current active track. First, you’ll board our Northbound Excursion for an hour round trip to Colgate Grove. Upon reaching Rockhill Furnace, reboard the train for a Southbound Excursion to the community of Pogue. A shop tour can be added on for an additional $5.00 with our All Day Train & Tour Combo.
What’s Included
1 Hour Scenic Train Ride to Colgate Grove
Ride the rails through rolling hills, forests, and pastoral farmland on a nine-mile, one-hour roundtrip to Colgate Grove and return.
45 Minute to 1 Hour Scenic Train Ride to Pogue
Ride the rails through rolling hills and forests on our recently re-opened trackage heading south of Rockhill Furnace towards the community of Pogue.
While we always recommend advance reservations online, if space is available on the date of departure, we do accept walk-up reservations. If you wish to purchase at the ticket window, we recommend arriving no later than 1/2 hour prior to the train’s departure.
