The train ride is just the beginning. Ride the East Broad Top to Colgate Grove, where a full afternoon of fall fun awaits. Explore the Pumpkin Patch, take a Hay Bale Wagon Ride, decorate a pumpkin, play mini-golf and cornhole, visit the Free Photo Booth, warm up by the fire pits, enjoy the bounce house, and join in even more activities, all as part of your Pumpkin Patch Express experience. It’s all included with your Pumpkin Patch Express ticket.
Train Ride to the Pumpkin Patch
Pulled by a century-old steam locomotive, the train carries you north to Colgate Grove, where family fun awaits.
Fall Fun at Colgate Grove
After arriving at Colgate Grove, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the activities included with your Pumpkin Patch Express ticket. Take a Hay Bale Wagon Ride, explore the Pumpkin Patch, decorate a pumpkin, play mini-golf or cornhole, visit the Free Photo Booth, warm up around the fire pits, and let the kids enjoy the bounce house. Several food trucks will also be on hand with food and refreshments available for purchase. Plenty of other free activities are available, too.

Costume Contest
Come dressed for the occasion! Children and adults are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and join in the Costume Contest at Colgate Grove. Prizes will be awarded for each train departure.
Food & Refreshments
Come hungry! A variety of food trucks will be on hand at Colgate Grove, with food and refreshments available for purchase. Adults 21 and over can also enjoy the Juniata Brewing Company Beer Van on-site, offering a selection of craft beer.
Food truck availability is subject to change.
Additional Information
For your convenience, we will have restrooms, baby changing areas, and a first-aid station available for all guests at the Pumpkin Patch and the Orbisonia Station.
Please allow for one-half hour for the train ride to the Pumpkin Patch, one hour and thirty minutes at the Pumpkin Patch, and one-half hour for the return journey. The total duration of this activity is two hours and forty five minutes.
Strollers are permitted at the Orbisonia Station, onboard the train, and at the Pumpkin Patch. Collapsible strollers are recommended to assist in the boarding process.
Pumpkins are automatically included in each child ticket (ages 2-12). Adults may purchase a pumpkin when reserving tickets or at the ticket window, subject to availability and while supplies last.
Accessibility
Restrooms, baby-changing areas, and a first-aid station are available at both Colgate Grove and the Orbisonia Station.
Plan on approximately 2½ hours for your Pumpkin Patch Express experience, including the train ride to Colgate Grove, 1½ hours to enjoy the Pumpkin Patch and activities, and the return train ride to Orbisonia.
Strollers are welcome at the Orbisonia Station, aboard the train, and at Colgate Grove. We recommend collapsible strollers for easier boarding.
Every child ticket for ages 2–12 includes a pumpkin. Adults may add a pumpkin when reserving tickets or purchase one at the ticket window, subject to availability.
