The East Broad Top Railroad is once again partnering with the Central Pennsylvania Ragtime & American Music Festival to bring the sweet sounds of ragtime, jazz, and the blues to Rockhill Furnace! From live performances on the platform to a dinner train and concert experience at Colgate Grove… there is a musical experience for everyone! Nowhere else in the country can you enjoy performances from Grammy Award-winning ragtime & jazz musicians while experiencing such rich industrial history.
2026’s featured musicians include pianists Frederick Hodges, Martin Spitznagel, Bryan Wright, Will Perkins, Danny Coots, The Westmoreland County Band, Westmoreland County Dixieland Combo, and the nationally-celebrated Peacherine Ragtime Orchestra.
Free Activities
In conjunction with our regular train departures, festival musicians will entertain the public on a rotating schedule throughout the morning and early afternoon on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9am to 12pm. While a train ride and/or guided tour is encouraged, a ticket is not required to enjoy the music! So bring a chair and come on down to the Orbisonia Station to enjoy the sweet sounds of ragtime in the shadow of America’s oldest operating narrow gauge railroad!
Join us for an evening of silent movies with live musical accompaniment! This year, the Peacherine Ragtime Orchestra will accompany a trio of silent comedy shorts with live orchestral accompaniment and sound effects at the Orbisonia United Methodist Church’s Outreach Center, 575 Cromwell St, Orbisonia, PA 17243! This event is FREE and open to the public.
Ticketed Activities
Throughout the weekend, the Grammy Award-winning musicians of the Central Pennsylvania Ragtime & American Music Festival will perform throughout Huntingdon County, with concerts taking place in Three Springs, Orbisonia, Rockhill, and the county seat, Huntingdon. Each concert features a different theme and different music, so you’ll never hear the same concert twice!

Join us as one of our festival artists provides a lecture about a historical facet of American music during the ragtime & early jazz eras at the Southern Huntingdon County High School, 10339 Pogue Road, Three Springs, PA 17264! Lecturer & subject TBD.
Hop aboard a 3 hour round trip excursion on the East Broad Top Railroad for a concert experience unlike any other! Once you arrive at Colgate Grove, step into our picnic pavilions, sit down to a catered dinner, and enjoy the syncopated stylings of the Grammy Award-winning performers of the Central Pennsylvania Ragtime & American Music Festival – both our pianists and the Peacherine Ragtime Orchestra! Bring your dancing shoes and strut your stuff on the dance floor, tap your feet to the music of America’s past, and enjoy a night of rhythm and rails! Attendees are encouraged to dress in vintage attire to complement the experience. Attendees will then return back to the Orbisonia Station.
Dinner options are your choice of either:
- Roast Beef with Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, Dinner Salad, and homemade rolls
- Pasta (Spaghetti) with choice of Marinara or Alfredo sauce, optional Meatballs, Dinner Salad, and homemade rolls.
All meals come with your choice of lemonade, sweet tea, or water, and baby cakes for dessert!

- Dinner & Performances: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
